ARTIST BIO
I am an animator and illustrator with a background in fine arts. I choose this medium to express my imagination and tell stories. I have worked on a variety of projects, from experimental videography, projection, artbooks, animated short films, to music videos and lo-fi visuals. New ideas and experimental art projects excite me.
Awards and achievements
• 2010 – Short animated film ('SERU') that I created in my team won the country’s ‘Best 3d animated short film’ award
• 2012 – Short film (‘SILLA’) was an official selection at TNFF (Toronto Nepal Film festival)
• 2018-2019 – I featured as media/visual artist for the Micro Galleries art movement for climate change, where I showcased my projection work conveying my message on 'Climate change and wildlife'. It was an open art project.
• 2019 – Winner of the ‘Short film competition’ at KIMFF (Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival) for our short film titled ‘The red scarf’
